Accessibility statement
Last updated: 2026-10-16
CalcPane wants its calculators to be usable by everyone, including the customers of the banks, credit unions and brokerages that embed them.
Our target
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA for the CalcPane website and embedded calculators. This is a goal we design and test toward; we have not yet had an independent audit.
What we do
- Every input has a visible label and works with a keyboard.
- Results are announced to screen readers through a live region, and charts have text alternatives in the result rows.
- Animations respect the reduced-motion setting, and the site supports light and dark colour schemes.
- Pages are automatically checked for unlabelled inputs and horizontal scrolling at 360px width before every release.
Known limitations
Charts are decorative summaries of figures already shown as text. Custom brand colours chosen by embedding sites may reduce contrast; Institution customers can ask us to review their colour choice.
Feedback
If you find a barrier, email [email protected] with the page and the problem. We aim to reply within two business days.
